ok, i understand your reasonings behind it, but pans arent supposed to like a "thick: casing. is this something she should just ignore and let the mycelium do its thing? lets digress.... Two 1/4 pint jars are emptied into a container containing, with foil on the bottom and sides(clear container ) a 1/4-1/2 inch layer of casing material (50/50 of peat and verm) are added and then the entire container is covered and incubated for 48 hrs. some mycelium is seen growing at 24hrs. open the container and allow the casing to recieve light, provided by an 18" flourescent grow light. mycelium continues to look extremely healthy, but no signs of pinning yet. here it is, about 5-6 days later and still no pins, but a good amount of mycelium. RH is kept between 90-95% as much as possible, the chamber has a tall sauce jar, sterlized, filled with water and h2o2, with a wooden airstone connected to an airpump. the wooden airstone creates smaller bubbles than normal airstones, almost misting the air for you. the other end of the double air pump is just running inside the chamber, for O2 purposes. any suggestions to this would help. tia not2sure -------------------- The above statement is fictitious and for entertainment purposes only.
