Had a mild trip last night. First time having an experience with psilocybin. Last time I took too little spread out over too long and it was 10 years ago. I took 2.5g of Albino Burma. It was mild compared to what I've heard of other variants. After a half hour, I immediately noticed an uneasiness in my stomach that progressed to waves full blown nausea after another half hour. At that point, the TV show I was watching became very bright and vivid. The show has a lot of white and blue, as well as sharp edges and high contrast. It was mesmerizing. As the high progressed more, I closed my eyes to ease the nausea. I found myself listening to the TV show, and becoming giddy, and giggling over certain, mundane things that were said. It sounds weird but in those moments I had a feeling similar to falling in love, but without the expected stimuli to trigger that feeling. I got up to use the bathroom, and as I started looking around again I caught ripples in some blankets, and everything around me seemed to be mildly pulsating or breathing. I decided to lay down because I was feeling a little overwhelmed. I sat on my felt sheet and the texture made me feel like I had just come home from a long, stressful journey, and was surrounded by warmth and love. My girlfriend laid next to me and we turned on the bedroom TV. As I laid there, again admiring the colors and sounds from the TV, I slowly became fixated on her skin. I caressed her back, and every time my hand glided across her bare skin, I had an overwhelming feeling of love and connection with her. The next couple of episodes lasted only an hour, but it felt like 4 hours. I got up to use the bathroom a few more times, each time passing a scarf with "day of the dead" skulls on it. Each time I made "eye contact" with these patterns, I became anxious and uneasy, like looking into the eyes of death itself. I quickly did my boniness and got back to bed each time, finally being able to fall asleep an eternity later. I don't actually remember falling asleep, but I do remember waking up feeling dopey, sluggish, and a little disoriented. I still kind of feel that way now. It was an okay experience over all. I will be trying out different methods to ease the nausea next time. Thanks for reading.
