Hi guys. You know how that we are supposed to fast for about 8 to 10 hours before blood work? I am just wondering, let's say my blood work is for 8 AM. If I stop eating the night before around 8 PM or so, this should be enough fasting. But if I eat a lot of sweet foods such as candies or chocolate around 7:59 PM, what will the result from next day's blood work show? Like, will it be bad enough to mean diabetes, or will it just be elevated? Thank you.
