Hi all, I recently found a few specimens of Lactarius Rubidus (Candy Cap) fruiting directly off of decaying wood and wanted to try my hand at cloning them. I had 7 different specimens I cloned, and only one of them took to the agar. The one that took seemed to grow pretty fast, so I wanted to see if anybody here is familiar with this mycelium. Attached are photos of the first plate, as well as the second plate. Would appreciate if anybody can confirm this is LR mycelium and not some sort of contam. Thanks in advance!
