Crystals of the Gods Recipe Written by: Village Boomer WARNING PLEASE READ FOR YOUR SAFETY AND ENJOYMENT OF THIS MAGICAL SUBSTANCE… When consuming psilocybin in this form your body will fully absorb the entire dose before you feel it. (Just like LSD) It is very easy to take too much depending on how big a batch you make. The reason for this if you can reduce this mixture by evaporation. If you made a 20g batch one shot could have 10g in it. If that happens and you cannot handle it you will be stuck riding it out. You will not be able to puke and come down, as I have done before eating fruits. During my first experiment with this I narrowly avoided a bad trip but all was well. I had consumed a very high dose and if I had not been more experienced it would have gone bad for sure, I seriously was on the edge of a break through. It is very easy to safely dose as the recipe will explain simply label your jars and keep track of quantities. I enjoyed this method of dosing very much it cuts out all discomfort from your body digesting the fruits themselves. I hope you enjoy this as well stay safe and mushlove. Ingredients: Cracker dry mushrooms 190 proof everclear Equipment: Heated Magnetic stirrer(double boiler) Magnetic stirring bar(optional) Wooden dowel(stirrer) Mason jar Beaker rubberband Small storage jar Pyrex dish Jar rings(to keep mixture off of heat, something not metal works best with magnetic stirrer) Coffee filters Ninja shake blender Step 1: Take desired amount of shrooms and powder them in a food processor or magic bullet. The more shrooms powdered at one time the finer the dust. If you do not have this simply crush them in a bag as small as possible. Step 2: Put powdered shrooms into a mason jar or beaker and cover with everclear, when settled you should have an inch or so layer of alcohol on top depending on you batch size. If doing multiple batches or if you do not have time you can let you mixture sit at room temp in the jar, give it a shake whenever you can. You will notice the liquor get darker the longer it sits. Step 3: When ready to extract take your pyrex dish and put some water in it. Place it on the hotplate and put your jar rings or whatever you have on the bottom. I found some plastic crowler rings that worked perfect, the jar rings move if using a magnetic stirrer. (double boiler substitute) Step 4: Put your jar in the water so it sits on your jar ring and is off the bottom of the pyrex and turn on the heat. (make sure the lid is off so you do not build pressure in the jar and alcohol can evaporate out) You want to see small bubbles on the bottom of the dish but do not let the water boil. You can pull you mixture out if temps get too high and return it in a minute or so. I kept mine around 75-80 degree celcius or 167-176 degrees fahrenheit. You should be good keeping your mixture under 200 degrees fahrenheit. Step 5: Let the mixture steep for four hours adding fresh everclear if the mix gets too thick. Do not add too much or it will make the evaporation process longer at the end. Run the magnetic stirrer if you have it, if not you will need to pay a lot closer attention to the mix. Whichever you have monitor the mix the whole time, it can easily bake onto the glass and ruin the experiment. Do allow time for the mix to sit, you will see bubbles start moving up through the mix and it will look like it is baking, just be sure to keep it loose, you will get the feel for it. Do not allow the water in the pyrex to boil, if the mix itself starts boiling violently take it out for a minute. The stirring bar will keep a hotter mixture calm as it gets rid of some heat. Step 6: After four hours is up you will have a yellow/gold layer of alcohol if you let it settle, the mixture will now smell somewhat like a pungent mushroom perfume, the smell should be appealing. Take the mix out of the water. Take your beaker and rubberband a coffee filter around the top. Strain your alcohol/shroom mixture into the beaker. Remove the rubber band and squeeze out all the alcohol. Be careful not to rip the filter and spill shroom material into your extract, you might want to double up filters when squeezing. Step 7: Take the wet shroom material and put it back in the jar you just extracted in. Cover it with fresh alcohol and Repeat steps 4-6 at least 3 times.(I plan to do a bigger batch and will definitely be doing more than three extractions.) Squeezing all the alcohol into the same beaker, use fresh coffee filters. On my test run I did 4,2,2 for my extraction times and the batch worked very well. Step 8: Decide whether you want to dose now or store this for later. If storing for later you might want to reduce the mix depending on the volume. An easy way for safe dosing is, if you start with 10g after removing the shroom material reduce the liquid to 100ml. When ready to dose every 10ml will be equal to one gram. If storing I would save a little extra as you will need to reheat before dosing and some alcohol might evaporate. Store the extract in a small mason jar close it tight and keep it in the freezer. Step 9: When ready to dose remove your extract from the freezer, you will notice crystals have formed on the bottom of the jar. These crystals will form bigger the slower the evaporation process is. If you want to try making bigger crystals evaporate in front of a fan instead of in your double boiler set up. (Mixture will not have crystals when hot.) This will take hours heating to reduce is best if you want to dose now. You don’t really even have to reduce but when you throw back that shot your gonna remember you used everclear. If you reduced before storage you will still need to heat up and stir your elixir to make the solution is properly mixed for accurate dosing. If consuming the entire elixir you can just eat the crystals without heating it up, I did, it definitely worked. Reduce it as much as you like just make sure you know how to measure your dose. Some ways I am doing this are: 10g extracted to 100ml alcohol = 10ml alcohol per gram dried shrooms 30g extracted to 300ml = 10ml per gram Custom doses, if you want to trip on four grams make a small extraction, though it seems like a lot of work when you can measure and have extra. 10g extracted to 10ml alcohol = 1ml per gram (not sure if I will try this) When it comes to storage based on my research this will keep in the freezer for quite some time, even months. Also there might be possibility of reducing this mixture into a crystal form, but it might require more chemicals, I have not reduced this as far as I can at this time. I am writing this very soon after my initial experiment which can be found in the trip reports section. For those of you who try this please leave some feedback on better methods new and improved teks, this tek was not as easy to find as growing mushrooms. Also whoever stores a jar the longest and trips balls wins. I'm not sure if these elixirs will lose potency over time, but fresh they will kick your ass.
