So here's the back story, I had been working with ms noob grows for the longest and I finally got my head right and ditched the grow kits and ms nonsense and started using agar and making my own grains and subs. Now I finally have lots of grains from cleaned up agar going on, multiple tubs all spawned last week and I'm sure I now have clean spawn and substrate and a few awesome clones to test out! So I spawned 3 quarts of oats to 3 quarts cvg on the 15th of this month and since the 1:1 spawn ratio it colonized fast as hell! Today is day 6 and imo it looks ready for fruiting conditions! On the day I spawned the tub I put a tiny pseudo casing of cvg just to cover the grains up and keep things moist, would you guys with tub exp case this thing now? Let consolidate till like day 10, or go ahead and increase the fae now and just mist when needed and let it pin when nature deems it time. My temps have been 73-76°, the tubs been in direct 12/12 lighting in my greenhouse since spawn along with 27qt mini mono with 4q/4q cvg and a 2q/2q cvg shoebox that were done 1 and 2 days after this tub and all looking great. Anyways here are some pics of the tub and general setup! (That uncolonized pic was the same tub just 36 hours earlier) P.s. I've been leaving on a cheap blue light bulb at night and maybe it's nothing but my last pinset from my old shoeboxes took off after adding that to my grow room. -------------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ~Shroom4Life's Psychedelic Spraypaint Art fs/ft~ Edited by Shrooms4life (02/22/18 05:53 AM)
