Incubator/MycoBag Question
      07/24/03 04:25 PM

I used the no cut incubator method found on this site.

If the water is kept at 85 degrees, would the tupperware container containing the myco bags be at 85 degrees also? I dont think so, just by sitting on top o the water and sealed with a top. The reason I ask is I don't have the right kind of thermometer and can only check the water temperature, and not even accurately.

During colonization I have heard the mycalieum is 3 degrees higher than its surroundings, should I compensate the temperature for this?

I have heard injecting water into the bags after a first flush can promote more growth, would honey-water work even better?

Has anyone had experience using the myco bags growing golden teachers, and if so... how did it turn out?

Thanks a lot in advance, its my first time.

-Wayne
