Eh, it kinda of is still that dangerous. The tandem instructor would have a hell of a time keeping stable. Landing would be interesting if the passenger was still out of it. I guess it wouldn't be impossible, but highly unlikely that ANY instructor would take the risk. But if looking for ANY way to do it, this would be the only way (and not from 35,000). A normal skydive is anywhere from 10,000ft to 13,500ish. Without a tandem instructor this would be impossible. From any height. Even at 35,000ft you only have around 3 1/2 minutes till you hit the ground. Really only 3 minutes till a normal "pull" altitude (2-3000 for an experienced skydiver). From 13,500 you have about 60 seconds till its time to pull. So, while I agree the mind fuck this would be is interesting to think about, it's not possible. ![]() ![]() edit to add: Yep, still was a crazy thread.
