I don't understand the responses that this was 'stupid'. What is 'stupid' about it? It was potentially fatal, yes. But I think he was quite aware of the dangers. I think 'stupid' suggests an ignorance or an inability to comprehend. I think this person knew what they were getting into. There certainly is a chance someone could be too fucked up to remember to pull the cord and they could die. Or maybe they'd make the decision that it is better to die in that state than to pull the cord. His choice! Just because it isn't something you'd feel comfortable doing does not make it 'stupid. This story is both entertaining and inspirational. Living life with your balls to the wall. I think it is far stupider to live life too afraid to try anything. Some of you speak of the Darwin award . . . well this person certainly set themselves up for the possibility of death, but they also set themselves up for the possible EVOLUTION of their own consciousness/mind/spirit/life. So you naysayers can stay safely in your own cages of fear while some of us push life to the limit.
