Alcoholism is a "Mental Disorder," which is to say a disease of the mind. Are you getting the point through your denial? This isn't a mere opinion. The Disease has onset, symptoms, stages, organic correlates, and it often results in death. It is not a 'spiritual or moral weakness,' as thought in the 19th century when it was called dipsomania. I have worked with 7th grade middle school alcoholics, seen friends succumb and even suicide. WAKE UP
