Let me rephrase this. Six jars 3 of which were inoculated on 12-22 the other 3 were 1-1 all from the same LC. The 12-22 sat in a room with a 40w fluorescent light and the 1-1 was put in a dark cabinet from the beginning.

All jars showed myc at 5 days. At 14 days the 1-1 batch was further along than 12-22 was at 21 days. The 1-1 batch was mostly rhizo growth and the 12-22 was mostly tomentose.

Now they are all finishing up at the same time and I'm birthing either today or tomorrow except for 1 of the 1-1 jars which is at about 90%.

When I do this again they will all be in the dark from the start - until I find out what else it is that accounts for this difference.
