hello everyone, I'm trying to grow for the first time and i bought a liquid mycelium syringe of mckennaii and i put it in some PDA to see if it was clean and this is the result after 4 days. this is the under side of the "plate", it has a faint pink/orange color that is not visible from the top side. this is one of five poured cups and all look the same, 10 days before this i did another 5 cups with the same results, i throw those and started over thinking it was my technique. i use a SAB to inoculate and i left one cup open the entire process to check if the contams were inside the SAB and that one is clean, not a single spot of contamination on that cup. the agar was left 7 days after poured to make sure it was clean before i do anything with them. the cups are stored in a modified monotub with temp control at 26°C (78.8°F) So the question is: is this contamination? should i try some water agar maybe? or perhaps lowering temp would help? PS: english is not my fist language, have mercy with my grammar. PS 2: im from Argentina, so if there are some Argentinians message me, im having a really hard time finding basic materials for the hobbie. thank to everyone for sharing your knoledge
