Yeah and now to bring you the negative, last year we had a heat dome over Europe for much of summer and it caused half of my plants both indoors and out to herm out like crazy, and it was the same across all seed sources. So yes, I am positive, but I'm also realistic in that it won't be easy for Leftfield to grow outdoors where he's at. You just have to look at things this way: People are setting up experiments at the poles to grow tomatoes and lettuce. If they can grow tomatoes there, we can probably grow weed in less extreme circumstances. Will it provide us enough? That's for us to find out through our hard efforts. We're lucky enough to be in a timespan where temps are relatively enormously positive for us. Think about the colder periods of ice ages instead of the current interglacial period, and realize weed has grown on the planet throughout that period non-stop. It wouldn't have grown everywhere or anywhere. It would have had it's niche, which was probably far from perfect, but good enough to make a living and pass on that life. Passing on that life might not be the main goal of what we're trying to achieve, but as long as life can be passed on, strains that fare better may be achieved through selection. So in closing, I would like to offer a different thought experiment to Leftfield. What if your environment proved to be THE breeding grounds for the strains of a perrilous future? -------------------- The best things in life can be smelled on one's fingers.
