We're getting something similar here. I'm bringing the potted figs in and out depending on the weather so they don't get too cold and die, or come out of dormancy, and can't go outside for the season until May. I'd like to have them out by March. The in-ground figs have banana boxes full of mostly dead sorghum and corn stalks and leaves over them, covered in plastic. I probably ought to add some mulch, too. Had big wind come through yesterday, and blew over the cages I had put over two of the three hazelnuts because I forgot to staple them down. It bent them over, but didn't break or up root them, so maybe they're ok. I stomped the soil back down around them, and it was the consistency of thick oatmeal because of all the rain. I have concerns about drainage. -------------------- Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ (•_•) <) )~ ANTIFA / \ \(•_•) ( (> SUPER / \ (•_•) <) )> SOLDIERS / \
