I've been trying to keep my ph within those ranges, next go round I'll be more attentive when it comes to ph and ppm... pretty sure the chart I was following had me running on the high end of feeding 1600-1850ppm... got to reading marijuana horticulture by jorge cervantes and it said to try to keep ppm's between 800-1200ppm when feeding
It's not just about measuring the input ppm, you gotta measure the runoff too. If the pH has crept out of range, there's a chance the ppm's have been climbing too. If you have an undiagnosed ppm issue, lowering the pH isn't going to be so effective if the plant has essentially closed its mouth (roots) to avoid choking on too much nutrients.
And in theory, correcting the pH by feeding even lower makes sense, but I think there's some reasons not to. Otherwise why not drop like 6 drops of hcl in a liter and feed them at 1.2 pH yaknow? I think it'll be better to flush them with tap/distilled/RO until neutral and then feed at the proper pH. That's part of the reason why I think your ppm must be high if your feeding input isn't having much effect. For example there could be 5x more ppm in the pot than what you're feeding at, so the feed pH is only having a fifth of the expected impact. If you flush all that ppm out, then the media can be immediately set to the next input pH.

I've been measuring everything... ec is low, ppm of runoff wasn't high only like 400ppm, just the ph of runoff is high... I'm pretty sure it's from my ph meter shitting out on mea couple weeks ago... I will keep trying to lower ph slowly over the next week or so, I've got Chemdog & skywalker og in the tent if that helps... they don't look bad or anything, just not in the ideal ph range
