This is almost guaranteed something I'm doing wrong, but if I don't shake and microwave my agar to boiling before I throw it in the sterilizer, it always comes out "mixed-phase", like a chunk of consolidated agar and some liquid in there too. The sterilizer gets hot enough for long enough for this not to be a thing, so I have no idea why this is happening. -------------------- -PH!
