Quote: That's some weird creatures. Kinda similar, though can see the face and not made of radiant gold. Interesting. Super interesting. Gets me thinking to the basis of original thought. Something that I found is that people tend to see entities that they expect, and by taking away any notion of what one might encounter the mind is set free to perceive what it will during experiences. For example, I was reading about common entity experiences (going back a pile of years now) and something that stood out was jesters. Next thing I have jesters appearing in my visions. Unlike all my previous experiences this was something that was not unique in form and nomenclature. It was then unrealised what I had inadvertently done to myself. I had predefined, created an expectation and set parameters by which the experience would unravel. Reading through other people's progressions I realised that this is common. People on their base functioning level are heavily influenced by what they think about, way over even what they believe. This steps back once again to illusion of choice that we were discussing earlier. Through this mechanism entities can enter popular perception. Two common entity forms from different eras and their root creators: The circling tribes people with God heads and tongues that stick out, from South American shamans. (I bet they have a name for this archetype) The machine elves, from the popularization of freebase DMT by McKenna. For me the effect of other people's trips bleeding through to my own was unacceptable. I didn't want to be creating my own interpretation of what other people interpreted from someone else in a strange game of psychedelic Chinese Whispers. So I just stopped reading on the topic, lest I come across something so often that it defines an archetype in my head and plays out into my psychedelic reality. --------------------
