Just because the scope of our psyche is infinite that does not mean that we can't define things within it. There's many cognitive systems that are running in parallel but we are still single processor creatures. We can turn body movements over to automatic systems but cognition flows to a single point of focus. Everything is running at high speed through that single point. You cannot write or sing and then read something else at the exact same time. They both cross that point going in different directions. Like while you are reading this you cannot hear the actual words in a song playing in the background. You can jump quickly between the two to understand them both but not do them simultaneously. That is the point of processing where thoughts happen in real time. So somewhere in this incredibly fast stream of process a decision has to pass this single point to be a thought at a particular moment. This is all highly speculative and theoretical though.
