Some agar I have made has a thin layer of liquid on the top, I have a feeling that something happened when I was cooling them down and some humidity got in there and made some water. Does this mean this batch is ruined? Or can I pour this excess liquid off of the top and itll still be ok? I put some droplets of spore syringe in there before I realised that there was excess liquid, will that extra liquid cause it to not grow anything? It's been about 3 days and I can't see anything at all in there. I think next time I might use something to scrape the spores off the foil with instead of using a spore syringe. Would a qtip suffice? or i've also made a very dodgy inoculation loop. That might be better. Thanks all
