1. Sure thing, I use jars. The 4oz ones are great. 2. Not sure I understand but, no need to cut mold from plate. Cut a small slice of clean mycelium from the leading edge furthest from mold/bacteria and put that mycelium to a new agar plate. You can transfer away from the mold or bacteria though it might take a few transfers. Cutting the mold out won't help. Transfer a sliver of mycelium to new. If you have a lot of clean plates though it's probably easier to toss the contaminated ones rather than try and do transfer after transfer to clean it up. 3. That'll work.
