I have good luck using 1% on both agar and malt. If I'm making a batch of 12 or 15 Pastys I will start with 300ml of tap water and add in 3g each of agar powder and dry malt extract. Simmer on the stove for a bit then pour into the mini rounds. I usually pour about a 1/4" thick or so. They always set up fine and the mycelium grows good for me. -------------------- It's better to have it and not need it Than it is to need it and not have it.
