I've used the same blade for a year now. A needle is easier for me to use than a scalpel at times, I get better results when I use the needle for transfers and spores. I like the needle for spores because it will trap tjem inside the agar and they germinate really good, especially paneaolous and other difficult to germinate species. Some people have to pour warm agar on their pan spores for them to germinate but with the needle it's not necessary. -------------------- Psilocybe cubensis data collection thread. please help with this project if you hunt wild cubensis. https://www.shroomery.org/forum
