Quote: I agree a needle would be easier; I just did a set of LC's using the biopsy/poke method and they turned out great. I actually had one in my SAB for the process but I was just being stubborn and trying to get the hang of the scalpel lol, may just opt for a 1.5" needle next time. The ones I did via inoc loop last time did just as well as the scalpel, I imagine no difference with a needle, except less cells/tissue taken which in this case is a good thing. I think I'll give it a go. Funny blooper happened last night: My propane torch ran out of propane and my BIC died at the same time. I'd had that propane torch for 2+ years, and that bic for 3+ months. I'm sitting there doing transfers like "seriously, are you fucking kidding me?" after a long week at work and a bunch of personal family drama; I'll admit those last few transfers I was a little...impatient...deliberate. Ended up using a few extra scalpel blades than planned, good thing they are cheap!
