aren't they the same? well i found this: Coco Coir bricks consist of the coarse coir fibers extracted from the husk on the outer shell of a coconut. so maybe it's only a certain part of the husk that makes it coir. her is some better info i just found: Technically, coir is the fibrous material found between the hard, internal shell and the outer coat of a coconut so he's right get coir not husk. Eco earth's coir works great for me and i have been told it can be found at petsmart or petco but i order mine online for pretty cheap. her's a good deal but you have to get $50 worth for free shipping Edited by tombosley8 (08/20/14 03:06 PM)
