How much naptha to use?

I was using QT's guide and it says 100 ml of naptha for 30g of mimosa bark. I did this and the emulsions are not clearing up. Is 100 ml too much? or just enough?

first off an acid/base extraction would have been the way to go, trust me.
secondly, i dont think 100ml is enough, it doesnt hurt to have too much anyway so keep adding.

heat up some water for a heat bath, submerge the container with the emulsion in it so it warms up to 80-90-100?F. that should help clear up the emulsion.

Actually if you're planning on freezing the crystals out you can have too much naptha. Too much naptha in the freezer and the DMT crystals will have a hard time precipitating.
100 ml of naptha is plenty for 30 g of MHRB. I only use 250 ml naptha for a pound (454g).
Try putting the container in some hot water or running hot water over it in the sink. This usually helps the two layers seperate very fast. Secondly, if you are using too wide of a container your clear layer will be very hard to see and next to impossible to suck up.
I have never used QT's tek and don't really know why anyone would want to use it, especially since it takes almost two weeks to do what other teks do in 1-2 days. Let me know how it goes.

Sprinkle salt over the foamy layer to kill all of the bubbles or most of them then use a glass syringe or baster to suck up most of it. I dont think addind to much salt is a probably you might just have cpl specs or more with ur yield so I dont think smoking salt is all bad.

Salt isn't as effective as heating, but you won't have to worry about it going into the final product as it is soluble in polar solvent (h2o) not the organic phase.

Ya i know that tek is not hteb est but i started with it so im going to end iwth it. I am not freeze precipitating it I think I am going to just let hte naptha evaporate and the crystal form. I hope this works.
