i don't remember my toddler years, elementary school years, middle school years, and even high school years except for a few memories here and there but they are more like snapshots and not living in detail through the memory. even when I look at pictures of me in the past sometimes it will spark a glimpse of a memory, but barely. is something wrong with me? is it like this for anyone else?? i tried mushrooms to unlock stuff but it didn't work. should i try the native american stuff? should i try memory recall with crystals, or reiki or a therapist?

Toddler years are pretty deep. But high school I’d think there were some memories. Were you on a lot of drugs prescription or otherwise? Was it a traumatic time?

It's fairly normal for adults to forget much of their childhood despite children having good memories. Don't trust any memories you find when using drugs. Fake memories are common.

I do not think this is abnormal at all, memory is very strange in the way it works. I have talked to people I know in the real world and to the majority of them, the past is just a grate black void with just snap shots thrown in.
I do not know anyone that can play there life back like a movie.

Yeah I mostly draw a blank thinking about my time before the last 10 years save for stand out meaningful memories. I certainly don't remember every class I took or every teacher I had. I remember when I won that one competition or when I got in trouble for that one thing but unless your telling me you can't name a single friend you had or a single teacher who made an impression or a crush, like not a single one, then maybe bring it up with a doctor? Memory quality and quantity varies greatly among the human population and nothing you're saying is sounding alarming.

Try centrally active acetilcholinesterase inhibitors like rivastigmine and also like harmine(which is also achcholinesterase inh) with psylocybin I reach my oldest memories that I thought I have forgot.

Just one more fyi on going to the doctor. There ARE tests and questionaires they can give you to determine if you are actually experiencing abnormal memory problems. If this is causing you anxiety you should make an appointment because the sooner you get it figured out the sooner you'll stop worrying about it.

thats great advice yeah i just am suspicous a bit that maybe my parents were drugging me al those years because i was such an uncontrollable child. i also have a small circular scar on my forhead about the size of a bb in teh exact spot as where they do labotomy. i also have times where i would go on trips with the church and one time they had me sharing a room with a man and i dont' remember anything except waking up in the bed with him in the morning and then i was sick to my stomach and was puking a few times shortly after, and ever since then i have these church retraeats and such with massive blackouts damn that sucks but hey, you know what? worse shit could be happening. you are so kind and i genuinely hope you feel loved adn appretiated for all of your responses.

Can be trauma based. But not always. Some people just dont have a lot of memory. I did not and did a shroom trip once and just went back in time and had all these memories... and couldnt realize why I had forgotten them. They were real. It was all good things.

It made me cry. It made me happy. I think I ate 3-5g I don't remember. My intention was my childhood. Really good memories and I needed it. Very healing
