Hello everyone. I hope this message finds you well!
I am just wondering if anyone has experience with other types of mushrooms highs… im thinking something resembling an amphetamine high… Maybe a little more than a micro dose of psilocybin mixed with a fuck ton of cordyceps???
Any ideas??

I don’t have experience with this. Though I do feel like you would have better chances of getting your answer in the psychedelic experience or mushroom cultivation threads.

Why, cordyceps? People have mentioned Lions mane as being something to add to your chocolate bars when mixing in magic mushrooms? Do you know why people do that?

I think Paul Stamits was one of the first to popularise this…
I know lions mane is said to have lots of cognitive benefits so his thinking was micro dosing psilocybin along with lions mane could have many of the associated and compound benefits.
Cordyceps were used by Chinese and others who claimed many health benefits along with boosted energy levels. Personally i dont have any experience with this either. I could only imagine a combination of all 3 would do one wonders.

No experience with cordyceps, I hear they are nice. Cubes are too variable for me to take on a day to day basis, plus they’re potentially bad for your heart when taken daily. Once and awhile psilocybes help me focus and get organized, but more often they accelerate my add even when taken with adderall. Add is amazing when you’re able to aline your life with what has your attention. Cherish those times.

Yes it truly is beautiful when you can align life with your interests. Wouldn’t trade it for the world. Just for days when the mundane seems impossible I need some help…
Unfortunately or maybe fortunately I'm only self diagnosed. The doctors would have me believe drug use is the cause of my attention problems, unless they are referring to paracetamol mum gave me as a child… I need explanations for my adolescence before they convince me its all self inflicted lol.

I would say most classical psychedelics can help alleviate and also cure many ailments, if one puts their mind to it enough. It's basically your entire brain connections communicating with each other through different channels, and so that's why researchers are finding psychedelics to be incredibly useful
I find that if I want to get something out of a trip, I need to write it down, meditate on it working, keeping a positive attitude before and throughout.
I would imagine it would normalize someone's cognitive abilities if thats what you meditate on
However, I haven't seen much evidence that they can help, but they're much more effective than amphetamine in achieving something for add, without having to take them much at all

I wouldn’t throw the baby out with the bath water. I didn’t take ADD meds for pretty much my whole adult life, all the way through raising my toddler, but when it came to getting back to work and switching careers as a father I really don’t know how I could manage things like laundry, finances, a marriage, and upkeep of our home without treating my add with meds, in some ways I wish I would have sought treatment sooner but there’s this kind of guilty defeat feeling I had that I couldn’t buck up and overcome my attention without help, stupid bro stigma bullshit. I’ve taken mushrooms my whole adult life and yeah they help with a lot of things, but this season has so many moving parts that adderall has helped me with in ways mushrooms never did. I am way healthier emotionally mentally and physically since medicating with adderall plus I’ve got a job, and we’ve got clean clothes and dishes🤣 I’ll consider your language Skosh, you say you haven’t seen much evidence that mushrooms can help with add, but then you say they are more effective than amphetamines which have a whole shitload of evidence of being safe and effective treatments for add.
