Salutations! First post I'm sorry if it's oriented a little junky.
I wanted to see if anyone on here would be able to help diagnose a couple minor things ive noted sense my second flush. The first two pictures (Right to left) are from my first flush of albino a+ for a refrence, the caps fully opened was on mistake. I'm using just an all in one spawn bag and syringes then fruiting in a sgfc for this run, planning on trial running agar and bulk here soon once I feel like I've read and understand enough.
In the lower pictures shown are some of my mutations I experienced with a jedi mind fuck strain after the second flush. One had a totally solid cap as well as gills growing out of the stem body which I failed to get better pictures of, the other mutation had a flanged cap and I had noticed that a couple other fruits were developing the same. I feel like it's more than likely my genetics and inbreeding given I just crap shot on a syringe, but I was wondering if it could be chemically caused or if anyone has ran into the same mutations before?
My other questions pertain to the other photos I have up of my cakes, the whitest cake is the jedi mind fuck strain. My other two cakes that show discoloration are albino a+. This is my second run at this but on the first run of golden teachers with relatively the same tek I was able to achieve 3 good flushes with healthy fruits given the same discoloration. I figure it's bacterial and plan to cut the cake and see what's inside when it's fully spent. I just can't seem to find much info on the discoloration, it's texture is skin like. Almost jell like right after the dunk. I was wondering what could be causing the fruits bruising on one of my discolored cakes but no fruit bruising on the other?
SIDE NOTE: When I noted that a previous harvest of mine showed the same discoloration on the cakes I had attributed it to the fact that I dunked in a some what rusty pot(I know), never doing that again to say the least. With this current harvest I dunked in gallon bags for about 12 hours, I'm guessing it could be uncolonized cake causing the water to change color and discolor the cake but I'd love to know if anyone can tie it to a bacterial infection. ANOTHER SIDE NOTE: My phones flash exaggerates the blue on some of the mutations and cakes into a green, as well as the brown on the stems, I can with certainty say it's not triech at least on the fruits to best of my knowledge.

I love and am open to any advice and critques, I by no means know what the hell I'm doing but I love mycology as a whole and would love some guidance to help know what I'm looking at and why its there. Hoping to learn something from someone more seasoned than my self.

SIDE NOTE'S SIDE NOTE: not adding to my question just wanted to point out something about the second picture holding the mushroom. long story short these bags where neglected a bit by yours truly, because my cat had gotten sick and needed alot of help, so I said to hell with one of the bags cut the top to see if it'd fruit and contam given the cat staying in the room, so to say in the second pic holding the mushroom that actually grew 100% from a viney spider web orientation that the mycelium grew into that clung to the side of the bag. This run was by no means my best I'll be first to admit a bit of a fuck around and find out situation

Mutations are normal. I've had a few of the same that you've had. A lot of it is genetics, but you are right in that some mutations can be caused by certain chemicals in some cleaning products. A solution to not worrying about that would be to not use those on your tubs at all. You don't need to be spraying your tubs with lysol or anything before spawning them. Keep it to alcohol at most.
Most of that discoloration is due to the fact that your setup isn't working well and your cakes are all severely dried out. A lot of substrate bruising, your caps turning grey and blue and cracking, it's all related. You don't have a drop of water on any of those cakes and your surface and mushrooms are suffering due to how dry it is.
The brown/yellow skin is odd and does look a bit bacterial in nature. I can't say for sure what exactly caused it. I'm guessing it's a collection of bacteria and dead mycelium.
I will say this though. If you follow this post for your next cakes and create a water tub, you likely won't have any of these issues.
Lose the SGFC and stop paying attention to the hygrometer. Use your eyes and look at the cakes.
Welcome to the shroomery.

That's the way she goes, boys. Sometimes she goes, sometimes she doesn't, cause that's the fuckin way she goes.

Thank you for the promptness of your reply seriously. . I really appreciate the advice and insight on my surface conditions. It's definetly something I've been slacking with this run. The climate where I'm at isn't in my favor for humidity. Definitely need to get on buying a new humidifier, mine took a shit mid first flush. My first grow was under the same conditions as my current harvest and surface conditions where alot more favorable having a humidifier around. Part of it might be too I made the mistake of rushing into the second flush and I think I might not of given the cakes enough time to rest, so by the time they began to flush again the cakes had already dried out a bit. Not to mention my perlite needed a good soak too.
Good insight on the lysol too. I never used it to sanitize my SGFC but I did use it for the toat that the gallon dunk bags went into I'm guessing that's how it got in.
Thank you for the links to the water tek as well, definitely good knowledge to consume thank you.
