Yellow mycellium and deformed fruiting bodies

Hi everyone! First time grower here and I'm having some issues I could not solve via googling.
They're probably connected, but the first issue is that the mycellium has taken on a strong yellow-to-brown hue all over. I read that metabolites - "mushroom piss" - can do that, but I've never seen any wet spots. The sub-surface mycellium appears to be fine.
The second issue is that many of the caps grow out crooked, deformed, frayed at the edges and with a black-to-blueish coloration instead of the normal brown cap.
I would really appreciate it if someone here could help me figure out what the issue is and if the grow is still redeemable or if I have to start over.

That tub is heavily bacterial. What did you use to inoculate? Any pics of spawn?
It's also extremely dry. Your tub is improperly dialed in to provide adequate fruiting conditions. We could troubleshoot that too but your tub really is badly contaminated.
There is no healthy mycelium on this cake.
Honestly this would be a start over for me. This is one of the few cases I wouldn't even eat the fruit personally.

very bacterial probably started befire spawning and inadequate surface conditions or starting field capacity. The Mycelium is fighting a losing battle. I would start over.
Can you run me through your process so I can maybe help you narrow down the problem? Was your culture clean on Agar, how did you prepare your substrate, how did you prepare you spawn?

Thanks you both all for your help. I've now misted the absolute crap out of the chambers and will try spraying one of them with 3% hydrogen peroxide occassionaly, as an experiment to see what happens. The smell is perfectly normal mushroomy - but I don't know if that means anything.
I've decided to keep the grow going if just to gather more experience, maybe the issue is even fixable. Who knows. I can always toss it in the end. I've still got 2 colonized bags in the fridge so I'll start a new one in parallel.
As far as the process goes I've just followed the Uncle Ben's Tek guide from reddit without any major deviations, even used a still air box. Inocculated using a spore syringe bought online. I started out with 10 bags, one of which didn't take at all and started rotting. 3 further ones were contaminated by green mold on top (I inocculated on the bottom) so that's likely the result of me not sealing off the area when poking air holes. I've purchased a couple of chip bag clips in the meantime so that should help solve it.
When I mixed up the substrate and mycellium everything looked nice and healthy (little bit of blue bruising notwithstanding), the yellow came soon after.
Any advice would be appreciated!

UB is 100% your problem. Simply put, it is not a viable tek and almost certainly the cause of the problems you are having now. Your spawn using this method was contaminated from the beginning.
If the bags you have remaining are UB, they will likely fail as well.
To get a good start with cultivating, start with PF tek. It is THE best method to introduce noobs, like myself, to this hobby. Read the Hitchhiker's Guide in my signature. There, you'll find info about PFtek and everything else you'll need to know to get started.
Dump the UB, dump reddit, dump YT, and stick around here with the awesome people you'll meet and things will improve indefinitely.
We all want to see you succeed...UB will not get you there. This thread will probably be locked. Welcome to the shroomery!
