Green on colony. Bacteria?
    #28531795 - 11/06/23 01:49 PM (2 months, 20 days ago)

Pretty sure this is bacteria. It’s in all my sawdust colonies that were pasteurized (the sawdust) for 1 hour and mixed with colonized grain.  Used gloves but don’t have access to a clean room. I think I should’ve allowed more air flow on this particular one but the other ones are infected too.

Any suggestions?

Looks like trichoderma (green mold). Do not open that tub inside the house. Bury it or place in the trash (outside the house).

If it is mold contamination you don't want to disperse the spores of the mold inside the house or the room where you grow your mushrooms. Just close the bag carefully or put the lid back on the tub or shoebox and take it outside.

Sorry friend, but your tub is a gonner.  You could separate it from your grow area and see what happens but the mold is almost definitely throughout the entire sub.

Why are you using sawdust?  Is this a wood-loving species?

If every box has contamination like this, you can throw them all away and start over.
Maybe post pics of your grain/agar?
