Help! Contaminated stipes? Insides of dry mushrooms black/brown!!!! Pics included

Hello shroomery! After many years of watching and learning from the shroomery community I finally have something I cannot seem to figure out and need an answer!
My freinds cat grew these mushrooms and the insides keep turning various colors with some being grey and looking like normal bruising and bluing then some seem to have a more black/brown coloring going all throughout the stipe…these mushrooms were immediately put into a dehydrator @ 160 for 36 hours and came out completely dry

My question is what can be causing the extreme coloring? Some fruits seems to have regular bluing/oxidation (pictured on the right here) both mushrooms were exposed to exact same conditions

Last here is a freshly harvested mushroom that appears to have the brown coloring in the center of the stipe, I don’t beleive this is normal oxidation or blueing and is ultimately causing the insides to turn brown/black and be almost chalky

From reading others posts i understand they might still be ok to eat but they look rather unappealing!  Can this be avoided? What’s the cause? Any info would help my mental state greatly!

I really can't say with any kind of certainty.  Maybe verticillium, or maybe some other kind of bacterial infection.

It should be okay after going through the dehydrator.  Making tea with them can kill off anything that's left.

If you have other shrooms then maybe pass on these.

You should wait for a TC to chime in.  They can help you better than I can.

I will certainly pass on these but they look fine on the exterior so it’s hard to sort through the rest, crack one open to find black but the next Mushroom will look good so idk? Need to know the root cause and how to avoid! I only want healthy white mycelium!
