Thoughts on Dinosoil tortoise dung sub and agar

Anyone have an experience or reviews on Dinosoil by Twisted Tree Nursery?
Curious if it worth the money and only saw one other post on here mentioning it (the post was positive and resulted in a larger sizes).
Wondering if the regular vs the one with added horse manure would be better for a newbie.
Also curious on your thoughts on their pre-made tortoise agar dishes.

Why not coir? Cheap and easy to use.

Tortoise dung? Use coir. All the nutrients you need are in the grain you use, expensive substrates with additives are a useless waste of money.
And watch out buddy when your first post includes a link to a product you look a lot like a spammer to me.
Can you post us a link to the post on here where someone said it resulted in larger fruits?

I saw that post too.

MS grows so there's variables but there did appear to be a big difference between the two, too much to seem like just luck.
Very expensive compared to coir. I think it'd be good to try on a small scale though.

It's a scam and their is dno difference from coir and manure when it comes to nutrients, yield or performance.
Prepared substrates, made by profiteers within the blue rush community who could care less about mushrooms, cost upwards of 4x what it cost to prepare your own. And oftent that isn't accounting for the water, which is well over 60% of what your paying for. Also the knowledge you get and the money you'll save in the long run by preparing your own subs is legit priceless.
Just do it.

Not trying to spam, trying to make sure I'm making the right choices when starting out.
Reason for trying this over just diy coir is it's pre-pasturized, which is one less step for me when starting out. If I have success with this, it would then open the doors easier for me to then work on making my own in the future.
Same with getting pre-poured agar dishes. The less errors I can make on my first try the more inclined/empowered I am to then get really hands on with the diy aspect of all the steps. I also don't have easy access to manure so this would also be a way to incorporate that into my sub easily.
Plus, my purchase would help the tortoise sanctuary which is an added bonus.
And here's the thread that compared Dinosoil to coir: https://www.shroomery.org/forums/showflat.php/Number/27955585#27955585

Cool man hope it works out for ya!
Just so you know, coir doesn't even have to be pasteurized. Boiling water over top in a bucket is all many of us do.
