Why is this happening? Should I dunk and try for another flush or will these maybe start fruiting soon?

Hello again fungi friends! I posted about these cakes a week ago. It's now been 17 days since I put them in the chamber and I had a few good size mushies pop out but the majority of the cakes just look the same, no pins just fat knots of mycelium all over them. I have siamese twins growing though if you look close in the corner 😆. Some are starting to get a little bit blue bruising even though the humidity has been fine, lid has been cracked and I mist and fan once a day. The strain is blue meanies so that might be why they're getting blue but I'm not sure I've not grown them before... its been getting to be about 60F here at night, could the cold have caused this? Should clean and dunk them, try and use another heater for the room, and see if I get better luck on the 2nd flush or will these maybe start fruiting more soon? I'm pretty much a noob at this so all advice is welcome!

Its been over 10 years sense I've done brf cakes, so maybe someone else will chime in
Personally I'd say pick them couple mushrooms off when they mature and re dunk the cakes in cold water over night. They're probably far to dry to fruit and bruising from being misted. Get your temps and humidity back up after.
Good luck

do they feel much lighter than after initial dunk? they seem fine, rather on the dry side.. 60f is a bit low as this wont speed things up, but there should be more coming by the looks and grown at lower temps supposedly dense and maybe slightly more potent.

The humidity has been over 90 constantly and the temps between 75 and 80 during the day. I live in a desert climate so it gets cold at night but I dont think it's gone below 60. Should i mist them more since its so dry here? I think I'm going to give it a couple more days and try to warm the room up more at night and if nothing happens then I'll dunk them and try again.

sorry, didnt realise you have such day temps. i dont think the temp is a problem, a few degrees more at night why not but i dont recommend a heating mat, it will dry out more. some more misting? why not, as long as its a fine mist that can evaporate within a few hours. good luck! sounds like you have a plan!
