Patience is the opponent to anger, the destroyer of virtue. Much suffering comes from anger and clouds us from judging correctly.

I figured it was just fuzzy mycelium thanks for confirming that... But what about that odd color?

Do you have any experience with a metabolite grow in a bulk substrate grow such as coir/verm?

Metabolites are not bad. It is a byproduct of the mycelium. With BRF cakes, you take 4 jars, and shred them up with a cheese grater. Then you put the 4 shredded cakes into a (shoebox 6qt plastic tub). Then add the same ratio of wet coir and mix it up. Easy bulk. Look at my signature, those are coir + brf cakes.

I have 16 jars which is 4 quarts of spawn total. Going to shred cakes and mix that into 4 quarts of bulk (2qts coir/ 2qts verm/and half a cup of gypsum). That or I follow 1:2 ratio not sure. Ill check out you`re recipe

Im hoping 1 coir brick wont give me too much otherwise I dont know what to do with it.

Thank you all!

Yeah I always do a 1:1 ratio of coir and cakes.

I realize I told you they were fine the other day, but after taking another look...

Is there black color in those jars? Or am I seeing things?

I don't recall seeing the black in those pics before. The yellow is metabolites though.
