Monotub: Recasing after dunk? 1

My pc amazon monotubs are on their third flush. Last flush, after dunking these tubs, I recased them both with a lightly sprinkled fresh layer of coco coir substrate.
Tub A

To me it seems like Tub A went into a very quick "colonization" mode where it quickly colonized the new layer of coco and formed a lot of new knots. This tub is developing a uniform pinset of many new pins.
Tub B

Tub B on the other hand didn't colonize the new layer at all and developed a few very big fruits, bigger than those of the second flush.
Fruits from Tub B

These tubs were spawned from grain inoculated with the exact same liquid culture and were colonized and fruited in the same conditions/rooms.
Why do they look so different? How can I control this (ie: make it colonize to new pins or not) next time?

Genetics probably....also fruits will get bigger as the flushes progress...bigger, but fewer.

They were inoculated from the same liquid culture.
Also I realise fruits will get bigger after subsequent flushes, but one of the tubs formed an entirely new pinset while the other one did not. Why?

Genetics, substrate conditions, possible contamination....really can't say for sure man

Way back in the 90s recasing was alot more popular. But that was before coco coir lol. And yes it can seem like it restarts them back to a 'first flush' condition /appearance.
