Trapping and fur taking license 1

I just bought my license for fur taking.
In PA we can essentially hunt coyotes all year. To my surprise, I just found out we can pretty much bait them without any regulations.
We can even use hanging bait.
I'm gearing up for my first attempt ever.
I have a dying rabbit call, 30-30, a red light, and 3 traps.
Anybody ever catch some nice fur?

Pa State Trappers Asso. is you go to for help. Trappers put a lot of pressure on the animals in Pa so the critters are wary of anything unusual in their area. If you want to sell the hide or tan it a small caliber fast expanding bullet is best. (.17-.243) I trapped at my in-laws near DuBois and did ok. Too many porkies.

Duboise, it's good hunting. Up in Marrienville too.
When you say pressure, do you mean pressure baiting?

No There are a lot of guys trapping and hunting them so they are leary of anything associated with man. Every one uses a rabbit distress call. You might try fawn distress and woodpecker call to get them in closer. A chunk of fur on a springy stick helps as well to focus their attention.
