Some are ready and some are not? Monotub question

The pinset is amazing in the tub but some of them really came up fast. A few are huge and ready to pick while some are media sized and still going and the rest of the tub is covered in small one and pins. Should I let them all go together or pick the ones that are ready?

Also, I heard not to use an air pump to bring in fresh air but I tried it anyway to see what happening and damn!! The results are amazing. I only have 4 holes with the pillyfill.

If some have opened up you should harvest them or cut the cap off. Once the veil breaks they will begin to sporulate and that could cause issues in the tub.

Harvest them right as the veils begin to tear no matter what size they are. Try to use something like small pruning scissors and cut them at the base of the stipe, so the other fruits can continue growing without disturbance. Yea an air pump isnt needed for monos that's what the poly is for. Loosen it more and you won't have to use an air pump.

This is my first time ever doing a Monotub. It was doing fine without the pump but I wanted to try it anyway. Looking good in my option! You can see the hose running in the bottom right of pic

I just twisted it out by its self. I put a small hole in the substrate tho. That'll be fine right?

Not really a good practice to pull fruits out of the sub. You will stunt the fruit colonies around and hurt a potential second flush. Also doing so puts holes in the sub that will pool with water and invite contams sooner.
