What happened to this cake

These pictures are from opposite sides of the same cake. It is an MS cake so I know its could be different genetics.
In the first pic the one shroom on the left almost looks like Penis Envy.
The second pic has some caps the looks like turtle shells.

Comments?

that cracking is from being too dry.
the "turtle shell" look is just pieces of the universal veil leftover

It could be genetics.
From the cracking on one of the "PE" looking ones it seems like you need to up your Humidity.
Instead of genetics and you having a cool looking collection of different strains they may just be drying out

And on the second Pic, theres blue tinting on the pins and on the cake itself to the left of the pins.
Also prime indications of your cakes drying out.

Well the bottom ones in the first pic look healthier than the other ones but are the others still good to eat?
Also if humidity / dryness is the problem how come it didn't affect the other shrooms or other cakes in my SGFC?

well its clearly not problematic enough to prevent fruits. just trying to be helpful
point is, theoretically - if your yield from one cake is 4 grams... with optimal conditions it could be twice that.
