Frank's 2015 Celebration: A New Year's grow log! 2

Hello Shroomery
So I've been in and out for a while..more out than in..but I'm still kicking and I'm still growing, so fear not! Here is a new grow log to end the year with...18 Albino A+ tubs are currently fruiting / colonizing and I took some photos to share.
Over the summer I moved to a new house and learned the hard way that soft water is bad news, so I've been using spring water (purchased from the store) for my coir and my grain dunk this round. I did disconnect the water softener, and for one tub out of the eighteen, I hydrated my coir and dunked my grains using only tap water so we will see how that turns out.
Otherwise, not much has changed. My grow of choice is still outlined in my 12-steps to shrooms guide and this does not deviate much from that.
In my grow room I'm using an oil-filled radiant space heater for ambient temp control (73F) and an evaporative humidifier to maintain ambient RH (currently around 40%). I have two 48" shoplights with daylight spectrum bulbs on a 12/12 cycle, and a stand fan or two running on low facing away from (but near) the tubs.
So, here are the specs:
Initial culture media is PDYA agar, limited MS grow (one transfer from MS culture before inoculating grains). Spawn is WBS (millet, milo, and sorghum wheat). Bulk substrate is one brick coir, two quarts of verm, and a handful of garden gypsum. Prepared as shown in my 12-step guide, bucket tek with small modifications. Fruiting chambers are monotubs (obviously). Casing layer is coir/verm at a ratio of one brick coir to six quarts verm. Hydrated with 7 quarts of boiling water.
Process is:
Petri to master quart jar of WBS. Master jar to large filter bag containing 4-5 quarts of WBS. Spawn gets dunked at full colonization. Spawn to bulk in monotub. Colonize. Case. Colonize. Patch and fruit @ 25% colonization of casing layer.
So, without further ado, here is the grow...
Grain bags being spawned to bulk:

Fruiting as of 12/10:

Colonizing as of 12/10:

The action: AA-1 (casing was way too wet, here's what happens):

I should mention, the "TL" on a tub's label indicates that it had a top layer of substrate over the mixed spawn and substrate. I fruited these at about 50% colonization of the top layer, which was about 1/4-1/2".

Did TL disappear again?
I think that's how TL does his tubs too, with the top layer, but he lets them colonize 100%. I was impatient.

TL hasn't been around for a very long time.
I was wondering why you fruited it early Have you been layering like that lately?

Hi Frank,
Very nice setup you have there. I never used the filter bags before. What advantage do they give? Faster overall colonization? Slimmer chance of contams?
