Is This A Decent Setup?

I'm trying to be a minimalist. The lights are each 15W daylights. As far as fruting these monotubs is concerned, is this enough? and/or what should I do to create better conditions?

How is fresh air getting to that little room? It'd be helpful to fan it out a few times a day, if you don't already have that configured.

some people run fans in the area that they have there monotubs to help circulate air around though dont point them directly at a monotub which can dry them out.
its not ideal but if you have to keep your grow out of site then i think it would be ok just not ideal.
I dont like my monotubs out in the open since new neighbours moved in to the next door flat (there kitchen window can be seen from ours due to the way the flats are and ive already had police out and in our flat)
so they get stuck under a table and stuff put in front so it just looks like stuff under the table.
anyway id imagine mine are in similar conditions to yours. I have a different monotub setup though using smaller holes but more of them with no polyfill so i dont know how that effects fae but they seem to grow just fine with minimal messing around with.
I fan it out sometimes but recently ive not been doing it for days.
You can always treat it like a shotgun terrarium and mist and fan now and then.

This is actually in my kitchen, next to the upright fridge. I grow them out in the open, pretty much, and I don't have privacy issues. I have a small fan that I can run. Is that enough light? And what does tight vs loose polyfill mean exactly? I don't have any sort of frame of reference.

Check out frank horrigans post on dialing in your monotub. He has some examples shown of polyfill stuffing.

The light is good, could maybe use one more for the bottom tubs, but light isn't a major pinning trigger, so a minor detail at best.

I see a massive amount side pins incoming on the first tub lol. Cover the bottom up with more tape
But besides that, it looks pretty good. I'd roll with it and see what happens. I would definitely get another light for the bottom ones, but thats just me. (Light doesn't really matter all that much, from what I've researched with cubes) But I think it helps.

Jman, I think you might be mistaken with the need for more tape. Light isn't a major pinning trigger. However, when the substrate is fully colonized, it tends to shrink away from the sides of the tub as the myc hugs/digests/colonizes it. This creates a VERY humid area between the tub walls and substrate, prompting pin formation. Putting tape there would just hide it!
The solution would be to, on your next grow, line your tub with a garbage bag, so it'll pull that in with it, no gap for humidity to build/pins to form. Also try to generate better pinning conditions atop your substrate. Up the RH!

Heh, yea for next time definitely use the trashbag at the bottom. What I ment was, he is so far into his grow now, he might as well just tape up the bottom and hope that the bottom pinning doesn't go crazy on him. =) Cuz then it might be a pain to get to those fruits.
But yes, I agree.
Edit: and I didn't mean that light was a pinning trigger, I just ment that it would probably be better for him later when it starts fruiting

Is it a lot of poly? The bottom tubs are very small, so I think it might look like a lot. I tried the garbage bag, actually, on another tub, and it made no difference. I ended up with side pinning anyway, and pinning underneath as well. I'm not going to bother with it. If I have windows open, do I need to have a fan running 24/7?
