white fuzz question
    #16302066 - 05/29/12 05:56 PM (11 years, 7 months ago)

Hello All.  I'm in the process of my first grow as per RR PF Tek and I got the white fuzz on my cakes within 24 hours of putting cakes in my SGFC (after DNR).

I've already researched and found that this is due to too much misting/not enough fanning, so my question is...after adjusting my fanning and misting, will the white fuzz go away or will it just stop progressing?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Does it look like the stuff on the top of this cake in this picture?

Whether it goes away or not I wouldn't worry about it too much aside from correcting the conditions that caused it.

Thanks for the response.

Mine doesn't quite look like your picture, but it looks like something that could develope into your picture.  My fuzz is very fine and fuzzy and kind of looks like mold that might develope on a piece of bread, which has me a little worried.  But, it is very white, no signs of green/grey and it doesn't appear to have increased in day 2 (after I've increased fanning and decrease misting).

Thanks again.
