Wisdom teeth remedies?

My teeth fucking hurt.
I noticed my wisdoms coming in a couple months ago. I had some pain and I took a day off work but then it went away.
Last night I started getting a really bad pain in the left side of my mouth, and I can feel with my tongue the tip of a wisdom tooth coming up. I've drunk almost 1.5 litres of wine and it still fucking hurts.
I guess it's probably time to go to the dentist but, anyone got any other recomendations?
I can't take a lot of painkillers because I have kidney disease and I don't want to fuck up my kidneys either, and a lot of painkillers are harmful to them.
Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

you can try keeping some ice cubes in your mouth to sort of numb the area, but thats only temporary.
you can also buy those throat lozengers that numb your throat. they're intended for use with soar throats, but if you just leave them over the painful area it should numb the area a bit as well.
problem with me is whenever i have a lozenger i instinctively eat it like a peice of candy or some such and end up numbing only my tongue and the roof of my mouth.

Yeah that sounds like they might help a little, to numb the area that hurts until I can get into the Dentist.
But same, I eat them too XD

Ugh I'm so not ready
I'm in the middle of selling a house and going through offers of people who want to buy the house and then being fucked over by said people and picking new people and waiting, and waiting...and offers after offers after offers, and moving everything and packing everything into boxes, and making the house absolutely spotless whenever anyone comes to look at it, and looking up new places to move into. Also looking for a new job and going through interview after interview after interview. Also working on portfolio for school. Maybe its the stress thats pissing off my teeth.

Yes, the lidocaine (throat lozenges) route may work a bit. I've also heard stories of people biting on cloves, which is supposed to keep the pain at bay. I doubt the effectiveness of that 'remedy' though. But it could be worth a try.

It should work. The pain caused by wisdom teeth is usually just irritation to the gums, and you should be able to get the lidocaine to the affected areas. Actual tooth pain is much more difficult to treat at home with a local analgesic, as you'd have to inject it close to the root of the tooth (just like the dentist does!)

i've got half a bottle of lidocaine for just such an occasion, and some benzodine (sp?) too.
but you'd better start drinking pod tea, i dunno if it'd hurt your kidneys tho...
or go cast away style and get yourself an iceskate

The lidocaine that is most effective is the liquid gooey stuff. The lozenges wont help much, if any. The goo coats the gums and numbs them very well

yeah house troubles can be tedious. my brother bought a new home recently. he said he went through literally like 6-7 different properties that they had agreed upon and drawn contracts for. and he was telling me they were like ' the house ' sort of thing, and each time something messed up. like failed hte building/pest inspection and thus voids the contract. or subject to finance when finance wasn't approved. its a bit lame at times.
but you should just hire an agent to do all the work for you or something. and besides if your selling your house, your probably going to get a decent payout upon settlement, enough to atleast make it so you don't have to work stress about work and stuff for the mean time.
you'll be happy to hear that i am currently living the sloth lifestyle. i finished university for the semester, and have three 3 summer months to do nothing but destroy my braincells.

It's definitely the gums that are aching.
I have absolutely no drugs at all in my presence to help me out
I'm willing to take anything for my mouth pain even if it's bad for my kidneys Kidney pain is more mild than mouth pain.

Yeah selling a house fucking sucks sometimes. Everything you have to deal with. Our house is worth about half a million and it just fucking sucks trying to sell it. We live in an incredibly desireable area, beautiful views and close to Vancouver. It's ansane how many people were interested and how many idiotic offers we went through. It's just a pain!
Honestly i'm just waiting until Friday to see if it sold, then going to find a new place and seeing if i get this job. I can't wait to be settled.
Haha, that sounds like a fucking awesome time dude burn twice as many for me!
