Anyone here NOT have a vice?

"Everyone's got their vice, what's your vice?"
and I would respond accordingly with a couple of things that I enjoyed but thought had negative or habitual connotations to them in regard to me, or something about my life.

WScott, failed thread on vices Are 'vices' a negative part of the human experience? Or is it inevitable that we eventually attach ourselves to a few habits that become traits of our lifestyle - we need to fill our days and lives with something habitual, right? I was reading this thread, and while there was not much user feedback (only 10 replies), it was clear to see that activities like using the internet and smoking cannabis are considered vices by many.

I have one large vise, and two vise-grips, both of which I keep in my garage workshop.

How has the usage of them created problems in your life, and have you ever tried to stop using them in the past?

Well, a repairman came yesterday, and to check what size roller my sliding glass door needed, we had to remove two rusted screws. A narrow-jaw vise grip did the job.It did not create a problem, it helped to fix one.
But seriously folks...I don't whore, gamble, over-spend, lie, cheat, over-eat, hang in bars, fight, drug, or steal. I could be addicted to Ecstasy if I had access, and I do lust after other women, which masturbation and occasional internet porn temporarily put to rest. I also swear when it seems cathartic. But, that's about it for me. Pretty boring, not even pathological, let alone dysfunctional or illegal.

Yes but you probably had to sort through a pile of other vises to find the right one so they were a problem.
Glad you were able to overcome your affliction.

I procrastinate entirely too much and I tend to do destructive things out of sheer boredom. I also have a very addictive personality. Of course, apart from all this I'm an entirely well-adjusted individual.

I like to smoke weed and masturbate to thoughts of "underage" girls.

So you're saying you're perfectly normal. How boring.

Well there's vices and there are vises. I have more vises than vices.
