Long Term Spore Storage Question (maybe a stupid idea!!)

OK,this probably wont work, but I thought it worth asking nonetheless.
I have some eye drops called Refresh Plus which is a lubricant eye drop containing CARMELLOSE SODIUM 5mg/ml. Each plastic sealed container only contains 0.4ml of solution.
So I was thinking, could you pierce the container with a needle, inject a small quantity of spore solution, then seal back up (maybe use a soldering iron to melt the plastic) so as to use them for long term sterile spore storage?????
Of course the real question is what affect would carmellose sodium have on the spores??? I'm assuming the compound may bugger the spores due to the salt nature of the molecule.
Any ideas???? (Yeah I know I could try it and see, but I'm not up to the mad scientist part of this hobby yet. Still learning the ropes)
Any other sterile items which are easily bought and could be injected easily with spores for storage???

You can just store the spores on a piece of foil

Yup. Or, if they're already in a syringe, just keep the syringe. How long do you really need to store 'em?
