I have taken it twice, and 2c-e twice and have very very very mild distortions if I stare very intently at one spot for a while. But it's barely noticeable and sometimes I think I'm just tripping myself out.
I'm curious how it was a "medicine" for you though, I'd like to hear more about that if you don't mind.

I've taken it more than twice (though less than twenty five times ) and have experienced visual distortions/tracing, ect. I do not believe theres any correlation between LSD and most of its supposed 'long term effects' including, nay, especially, flashbacks. More often than not I'm inclined to believe this is a rumor put-out by the anti-drug lobby then swallowed and regurgitated by eager acid users looking for some street cred ("I've taken acid so many times I'm practically always tripping, how cool is that?!"). Obviously I mean no disrespect to the OP, I'm just talking about my experience with my friends who claim to suffer acid-afterburn. Not one of them do I genuinely believe, for even a second. Why?
Well firstly, if theres one thing I have learn from using Psychedelics it's that (in my personal opinion, and anyone who begs to differ please feel free to chime in) you don't see shit thats not there. You just notice things you wouldn't normally or you imagine things particularly vividly. Take LSD and stare at the door to your bathroom - notice those weird patterns swirling around in the wood? Well they're always there. You don't magic them into existence by taking a tab, you just endow yourself with the patience and capacity to notice and appreciate. Even in the most intense trips, you rarely if ever 'magic' a change into the universe. You saw a spaceship at a music festival? No you imagined a spaceship and you were particularly impressionable (re: tripping) at the time. You morphed into a sofa then saw the white cliffs of dover? No, you took too much salvia then started thinking about the white cliffs of dover. If this doesn't make sense look at it this way; You can ALWAYS see tracers behind something moving if you look for them, and theres really NO difference between sober tracers and MDMA/LSD tracers. Wave your arm around RIGHT NOW and you'll see tracers.
The second reason I don't believe in these sort of longterm effects? Pretty much because they're a cultural and social thing, not a reality. Most old school trippers have never suffered any side-effects of their years of psychedelic use. Most claim never to have had a flashback. Then theres the ego-thing... "I've done acid so much I'm tripping 24/7!", bullshit. John Lennon claimed never to have had an LSD flashback or to have suffered as a result of using LSD. Reckon you've abused lucy more than he has? And finally; my friends that say they trip 'all the time' are the same friends who were telling me that because they've done acid 7 times they're legally insane a year ago, before I prodded them back onto the path of righteousness. Evidently not enough.
Once again, no disrespect meant and open to debate. Just talking from personal experience. Just my two cents.

300 hits in a year is pretty amazing too. I can definitely believe you'd have some lasting effects after something like that.
I took almost 100 doses of acid over a year. It will have been two years since I stopped in a couple months. I didn't keep track of how many hits overall it was but I would guess it was in the ballpark of 300. I also had lasting effects, with patterning and breathing/melting. It was very subtle but it was there. I almost always saw it inside, but not outside - and like you I also tripped mostly in my house.
It's actually gone away now, though. My vision is overall pretty normal aside from the occasional appearance of static, but I think that's normal. It took almost a year.

I've taken LSD twice, shrooms once, and DMT several times (a few other drugs as well, but none that fall into the traditional psychedelic category).
I don't notice any visual effects while totally sober, but now every time I get high I experience mild psychedelic visuals (breathing, color brightening) and and very vivid CEVs.

the fact you have access to that amount of acid is mind boggling to me

In the right circles LSD has nearly no value. Its really cheap to make its just illegal. Once you have the precursors you can have more than you know what to do with.
hopefully i fall into one of those circles in the near future

Just a thought...
Remember the first time you tried to hit a baseball? Probably not, but humor me. It's a pretty complex thing ... seemingly insurmountable at first ... the stance has to be just so, the timing impeccable, and the swing perfect. Even though you see other people do it all the time you just can't get it to work, but you keep trying and keep trying and all of a sudden CRACK and the ball goes zooming out just like you wanted it to. You do this over and over again, constantly getting better results with less thought until you achieve almost a muscle memory for the task. You can take a month off from practicing this amazingly complicated act and pick up right where you left off with no problem ... but take two years off and you'll be pretty rusty...
Moral of the story? Imagine Lucy as a teacher, showing your brain how to do something that at first seemed impossible. After enough time spent with Miss Lucy you're bound to be able to accomplish the task without her assistance. Now you're not the expert that she is so you won't get as good of results without her assistance and, much like our education, you're bound to forget much of the teachings over time(refresher course anyone?).
Second moral of the story? Since I'm in such an analogous mood .... Imagine our young friend being so excited about his newly learned skill that he decided to practice 16 hours a day every day ... yep, he'd probably get pretty good at swinging a bat but chances are he'd ruin a shoulder long before making the big show. Moderation is always our friend.

What about mental effects? Has your reaction time showed at all? Or are you able to make connections and stay sharp as well as before?

You and me both brother. Never seen a tab or sheet in my life. Just liquid down here - of dubious quality.
