From what I understand most of the retailers selling Fly are just looking to scam you. One or two of them may be selling the real thing in some weird/tampered-with form, but the vast majority are selling random crap they can get away with. You're better off waiting until Fly Agaric are in season and then going hunting for them. Season occurs about the same time as Liberty Caps though in my experience it tends to sprout a little later and last a little longer. Theres a village near me with a little forest on the outskirts, which has provided some truly epic Fly Agaric yields. One hunting trip we bought back at least 25 - more Fly Agaric than we could ever possibly have needed or used.
It's a shame, really, as at this point in my life I've got practically no interest in Fly Agaric. Waste of a patch. But nice to start picking, drying and stock'pilin'. You never know when they'll come in handy.

Is it a pleasant trip? Because i have heard from unreliable sources that its unenjoyable, but they also say the same for salvia.

Nah...never tried it...but never really heard of great experiences. Spend your tripping time on another substance which could be more rewarding...not saying it isn't of course.

Trips with amamanitas can vary widely. Some experience awesome effects while others experience none. I think a lot of this has to do with the potency of the mushrooms and the method of consumption/preparation. I would say go for it unless its expensive then just fuck it.

Just curious WHY you would even post? At all? this adds absolutely NOTHING to the topic. Sorry, just bugs me a bit.

He's just saying that the general consensus is that you can have more enjoyable and rewarding trips from other psychedelics, and so the OP should invest his time in that.
I don't see anything wrong with that... He's added more to the topic than you and I have.

Though I personally have heard of at least a couple of great experiences on the Fly Agaric.
I'd say almost everything's worth a try at least once. Leave no turn un-stoned.

i say dont order them because its not as spiritual....i didnt even know they existed until i saw them in an herbs book and got intersted in them....i live about a 2hour drive away from the coast of Southern Oregon, so i drive there every season looking in a certain spot i go to and get GOOD results. If i were you i would wait until it starts raining alot at the end of summer (July-December), and go LOOKING for them...i couldnt find one in my town so i drove to the coast where they grow everywhere ....i wish you luck

I did a low dose and had an interesting time. I can't say I particularly enjoyed it but it wasn't bad. It was weird, and left me wanting to try it again at a higher dose. I haven't tried it again yet. If you're certain of the ID what's the worst that can happen, you get a stomach ache and throw up? No big deal so give it a shot, you may be one of the people who really like it.

there was an awesome youtube video about fly agaric but i cant find it now, i think it basicly followed the experience of a couple of people on a different doses. see if i can find it. it does take a while to get going so might be boring for some people but i found it interesting .

I enjoyed my few trips on it. Had great times on low doses with booze on parties, and had some amazing dreams and visuals on high doses. But as many said, do not buy them, part of the experience is finding them yourself in the woods. I can't wait for the season to begin!
