Here are some A. muscaria's I found right along the side of a busy road! They caught my eye in a split second and pulled a U-turn as fast as possible..

First ones I have ever seen in real life. They are certainly one of the most beautiful mushrooms.

those are very nice. I've never seen them where I live. My one friend (non drug friend) who lives out in the country says he has seen a bunch of amanitas growing close to his house. I've never been to his house though. I kinda want to go over there, but he might get suspicious if I start picking mushrooms and bagging them up ^_^

Very nice.
I have a friend who classifies mushrooms according to how fast you can be going in your car and still see them. Amanita muscaria he classifies as a 60 mph mushroom.

Nice pics, I found some a few weeks ago. I ate one 4" cap and got the slightest of body highs. Panther caps still rule, a 4" panther cap would have fried me good.

Good pictures. Those are all over the golf course down the road.
What temperature do you have to boil those to, before you eat them?

if you are refering to making them eddible, the temp dosen't much matter, the point is just to let them soak/boil in several changes of water so that the ofensive(to some people) chemicals, which are water solouble, are removed.

if you where planning to consume them for thier psychoactive properties, i find it best to air dry them overnight so they're about half dry to begin with, then slow bake them at bout 200 till completely dry. you could just put them dtraight into the oven, but i find all the juce runs all over the place on the cookie sheet.
