Psilocybe caerulipes potency test 4

It's time yet again ladies and gentlemen for another installment of "HOW STRONG IS THAT?"
In today's episode we will be testing the infamous Blue Foot (Psilocybe caerulipes). The bad boy's were found 9/9/22 growing from dead Beech in the Adirondack Mountains, NY. Clicking HERE will take you to the original ID.

All tests are conducted using Miraculix Psilo-Q tests. They're a relatively inexpensive way to test for psilocybin content. The testing ranges from 0% - 2.4% psilocybin within 10% accuracy.
TESTING
Samples air dried for 24hrs until able to access a dehydrator. In the dehydrator they dried at 68c for four hours. Samples were then vacuumed packed for testing and not opened until today.
The total weight of the dried sample was 0.15g (150mg). Which coincidently is the exact amount required for testing.

The whole sample was ground into a fine powder and mixed with the extraction solvent(s). Samples were shaken multiple times over the course of ten minutes.

After ten minutes 1.0ml of the extraction solvent was drawn and filtered using a Sterifit to remove the solids.
1.0ml of filtered solution was added to the quantitative reagent. Immediately a color change was observed, changing from a slight yellow tint to a brownish green color. This was a first, as in all previous tests a color change was only apparent after exposure to the hot water bath.

The quantitative reagent was quickly placed in a 90c hot water bath for fifteen minutes.

After fifteen minutes the bottle was removed and checked for potency via the included color chart.

RESULTS
This was one of the best matches yet for color. Potency checked almost spot on for 15mg per 1000mg or 1.5% psilocybin. To me the color was the slightest bit darker than 15mg but 15mg was the best match. As always I'd love to hear everyone else's thoughts on what potency it looks like to them.
I hope everyone enjoyed this episode of "How Strong is That?". Next episode will be featuring Gymnopilus luteofolius! Until next time!!

As always, awesome job!!! I didn't expect those little guys to be that potent!
The one I've been DYING for is the gymnopilus! I'm curious if they are actually decently potent but maybe the kavalactones or other checks knock the psilocybin down by some factor due to the gabaergic affects!!!

Your poll needs another box to check. I think it’s probably between 15-18%, but I chose 15%. Good looking out on the testing. It’s interesting to see the data.

dude! you are the man for doing these tests! you may have just inspired me to do the same. it will be cool to compare species from NY and GA. except i havent found luteus or caerulipes down here yet. i do have some dried blueing luteofolius specimens(i presume) but i should use newer material for the tests right? my samples might be a couple weeks old
