So if YOU know that YOUR dog can get under YOUR fence, why would you or your wife let it near the chain link fence. Totally her fault. Have her kiss your broken hand to make it better, brah.
I agree. You can't completely blame the neighbor here. You know the fence is fucked, you do nothing to fix the situation, she walks the dog over to a spot an aggressive dog can attack it for getting near it's territory. It's what aggressive dogs do, it's all he knows.
I would've done anything I could to save my dog too, but this is a 2 way street.
Thread over I'm just going to poison their dog and call it a day.

hello he shouldn't have to go around shooting and poisoning dogs. i would be more sympathetic about it if the owners at least tried to help. the fact that they didn't explains a lot about why the dog behaved that way.

By their logic, I cannot own a dog and walk it down the street. If someone's unrestrained dog attacks I'm culpable. So what am I to do aside from poison all the other dogs around me.

To be fair, I would be doing them a favor. They are mostly abused and neglected anyway. They are probably going to all die in dog fights.

it pulled your dog through a weak point in TWO fences (one being yours...privacy fences are generally 6-8' high, by the way, how tall is yours?).
edit: let's say this happens again. exact same situation. who are you going to blame, then?
8ft. and he never got under. It looked like he possibly could. The chain link fence didn't even look like he could go under and he didn't go through it he was pulled. He didn't get pulled through 'two' fences just the neighbors. I even. posted a picture of the fence in this thread. Guess you didn't see it...
I never said anywhere in my post he got under my privacy fence. Just looked like he possibly could. That fence doesn't border their yard.
Am a little unclear, do you have a fence around your yard blocking it off from the neighbour's yard, or you have no fence on that side and the only fence between your yard and his is his chain link that you posted?

So, what happens when every dog in your neighborhood winds up dead, except yours? Or are you going to poison your dog too, to conceal your crime?

Talked to animal control. They have to build a fence/kennel that can contain him or relinquish him to the city. Guess I don't need to poison it. haha

They would blame it on black people and dogfighting.

I read the OP, did you story change after that? Your girl let your dog so close to the fence that another dog was able to reach under and grab it. If the other dogs that aggressive and the fence that shitty you should've kept your dog away.
Never said I knew the dog was aggressive until it attacked. The fence didn't look like it was possible to get under, just to short to contain a dog that size. Obvoiusly known to be shitty after the incident. Thought the dog was inside anyway. lastly, I was on my property. Good to know if my American Bulldog and boxer got back there and killed the rottweiler it would be the neighbors fault though.
Dog is going to be gone now regardless.

They find dead dogs all the time here. Last year the city found 20 dead dogs in a parking lot, did nothing.
If you weren't half retarded you would realize I was blatantly not serious. I imagine that rottweiler is going to end up euthanized now though. So you can continue to rant about how that is all my fault now too.
Pretty sure the neighbors will just poison him now anyway. They don't give a shit about it.

You blatantly come across as being seriously ignorant is what you are doing. It is only a matter of time before you break your ignorant hand or something again because you or your ignorant wife do something completely ignorant.
