FIRST GROW, ecuador on brf

This is my first time growing and i want to document how its going and i want the chance to get some feed back! So far i just sterilized 8 tall 1/2 pint jars with brf, but i thought maybe grinding up my own BRF but have some bigger rice grains would help make it more coarse and speed up colonization. I inoculated them at 4 am 2/2/16 and i have them in a shoe box in my room on a desk, theres plenty holes for FAE. I have a space heater in my room to boost the temp up a bit cause its been cold at night where i live lately.

Ill post some photos of the mycelium growth soon as it begins noticable

still waiting to see signs of myc growth, i understand it can take up to 2 weeks, but is there anything i can do to speed up things a bit? Is there such a thing as too much FAE or too little FAE when jars are colonizing as well? i tried looking for answers but i haven't succeeded.

fae doesn't really enter the equation during colonization. and no, just give the jars proper environmental conditions, and they will treat you nicely. patience is required in this hobby. the best way to curb your curiosity is to start a new batch while you wait on the first one.

After over 3 weeks, i saw 3 of my jars take off like crazy with myc growth, i have two LC jars almost all clear now, but i have a question as far as using these cakes, should i A) fruit in a SGFC as cakes B) spawn to a tray and fruit in SGFC C) Mini mono i want to know what factors, trade offs, what not comes with these options, what would be the most practical with the best yields?
